A Shadow falls across the Mind,
The Light of Sadness renders Blind;
A Shadow falls across the Heart,
Pulverizes, tears apart;
A Shadow falls across the Soul,
Fractured, scattered, never whole;
A Shadow falls across the Will,
Battered, Broken, but here still.
